So under the inspiration of a friend on Facebook, I decided to answer a list that he has decided to compile that you can find in a link that I'll post when he finishes it.
This issue always comes up in hip hop circles as far as "who's the best?" or "who's your favorite.....(insert element of hip hop here)?" The topic that I tend to enjoy the most is the discussion on whom your favorite producer is and the subsequent near impossible task of compiling a list to show everyone how much hip hop you know and listen to. The other added element of fun is showing how much of an elitist snob you are by knowing producers that NO ONE has heard of...and probably never will lol, "...BUT HE GOT DAT HEAT DOE!"
My plan is to not really follow a template as far as historical significance and all of that...its simple....which producer makes me make...."the face"
I digress......so here it is, in all its non fancy glory....My unofficial, out of order, off the top of my head, probably missed 20 people......list of hip hop producers that I respect. With tracks to check out....by no means their essentials but a nice teaser for you....Listen in HQ if possible

So there you have it....a not so comprehensive, not really well put together, not really well conceived, straight off of the top of the head list of the producers that make me need a neck brace...past and present.
